Every President of the United States of America has one and only home- 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington D.C. The White House has been the symbol of the US presidency for decades and this building represents a strong institution. However, Joe Biden still keeps his old habits and disrespects his own institution and tradition.
In the past month, there is 0 transparency from the White House administration. From time to time we are able to read something between the lines because Jen Psaki is overwhelmed with her new job position. She slipped up where Joe Biden actually lives.
“Well, the president lives in Wilmington. It’s his home. That’s where he’s lived for many, many years,” Psaki said.
“And as you know, as any president of the United States does, he takes a private airplane called Air Force One to travel there. That is of course a unique — unique from most Americans. But I think most Americans would also see that as a unique circumstance.”
The Press Secretary Jen Psaki tries her best to find out the perfect way to manage all things in the absence of President Biden who hides from the public eye. In fact, he still refuses to take normal press conferences with the media.
Anyways, we can conclude that Biden wastes a lot of taxpayers money to travel with his private plane. This is not an ordinary travel, but a complicated procedure in which he must be accompanied by many staffers, security, agents, etc. We don’t even have to mention the sole travel expenses for the big plane.
On the other hand, his hipocrisy is also shocking. The person who fully supports the COVID restrictions travels on daily basis.
As you can see, the people are not happy with this answer. First of all, Air Force One is not a private jet. It is a belonging to the taxpayers of the United States of America. Also, Psaki must know that, since he is sworn President, Biden’s only home is the White House.
